After decades of sewing, I've learned that a garment is only as good as what goes into it, including the parts no one ever sees.

Intentional Notions grew out of a simple problem: I couldn't consistently find notions that met the standard I was sewing to. Woven interfacings that drape and fuse cleanly, and zippers you can rely on (nobody needs a surprise zipper failure).

So I decided to see what I could source myself, starting with what was available out of Japan. The range is small and considered by design. Everything earns its place.
